Who we are..
The Anglican Parish of East Crompton St James is part of the Church of England presence in the former mill town of Shaw, in the Diocese of Manchester.
SHARED OVERSIGHT OF THE PARISH
In this Parish, the Vicar and members of the Church Council all work together, but each focussing on a particular area of church life: Housekeeping, Education & Nurture, Pastoral Care, Mission & Outreach. We acknowledge that we are not all good at every area of ministry. In small teams we work together to keep our church moving forwards, to become outward-looking, and to develop a heart for Jesus in order that we might be Jesus' hands, feet, eyes, ears and mouth in this world as we work together for the day when everything will be made complete.
Here's the people who share that task, working alongside the faithful in this Parish:
Kath, Churchwarden
Dave, Churchwarden

Alan, Treasurer
Treasurer's Report for 2008

Trevor, PCC Secretary

Howard, Deacon
Denise, Portfolio Holder for Pastoral Care
Wynford, Portfolio Holder for Housekeeping
Sarah, Portfolio Holder for Education & Nurture
Sharon, Portfolio Holder for Mission & Outreach
